Amity Artisan Goods is more than a store, it is a community that has come together to form an alliance. Representing underserved artists, including women, immigrants, LGBTQ, BIPOC, Latinx, and AAPI makers, Amity believes in "Together we are stronger.”

Founder Alshiref Eskander started in 2014 with a graphic design and textile print business, initially setting up at street fairs and holiday venues around Portland. Through these events he met a myriad of local artists and creators that inspired him to, one day, establish a permanent hub where everyone could express their art forms. In the last 3 years, Alshiref had the opportunity to successfully open Pop-Up stores in North and SW Portland leading to achieving his dream of establishing Amity Artisan Goods in 2021 in downtown Portland.

Featuring over 25 makers, Amity’s products are made and gathered with love. Amity emphasizes the desire to bring joy to others while helping anyone in need, a mission inspired by the very community members that shop at the store.
